Custom Handmade Neckties from Ties by NELSON WADE can be made in different sizes, weights or thickness depending on the fabric. The majority of our ties are traditionally created as a Three fold necktie, but our luxurious Six fold neckties are a very elegant option!

In Italy, Six fold neckties are commonly called a Seven fold tie. A traditional Seven fold tie is generally constructed with one piece of silk.  Seven actual folds are made and often come without necktie interlining or self tipping on the interior back side of the lower portion of the necktie. An unlined seven fold necktie  is not wrinkle resistant, as is a handmade wool-lined necktie.

If you do not see a particular color or style, we can special order Italian silk necktie fabric from a collection of 400 styles of fine Italian silk. Each fabric style may have 4 to 16 different base colors per style.

As our customer, if you do not see a fabric in our collection that you like, we can send you a collection of available fabrics in the color and style that you may be looking for.  Fabric styles could include patterns of Checks – Argyles / Classic / Dots / Fancy / Flowers / Paisley / Solids / Stripes.
